Station Manager for Voice FM
Voice FM, a community radio station based in Southampton, is looking for a skilled Station Manager.
The preferred candidate will have similar experience of station management within radio broadcasting or come from a radio sales background with knowledge of and an interest in programming; have the commercial mindset that will increase revenue as well as securing new partnerships for the station; have excellent leadership skills and experience of business management.
Responsibilities will include the day-to-day management of the station, ensuring it operates within regulations and guidelines; its commercial activities including marketing, business development and income generation; and scheduling on and off air staff, including the station's 42 volunteers. The ability to maintain and develop partnerships with local organisations, schools and businesses is essential, working within the purpose of the station and the characteristics of the target audience.
Salary £28,000 + bonus based on achieving sales targets.
