Lindsey Noble - Principal & Chief Executive

Appointed Principal of the College in 2001. Lindsey graduated from the.University of Sheffield and gained an MBA from the Open University in 1998. She has worked in further education since 1991 following an earlier career in sales and marketing.

Fred Stanley - Executive Director of Corporate Services

Appointed Director of the College 10 years ago. Fred has a wide experience of the educational sector in Southampton both in the 14-19 sector and adult sectors. Fred started his working career as an industrial engineer in the motor industry. Before joining the College he was the managing director of a private training company working in the Home Counties and South Wales.

Ivan Gregory - Executive Director of Teaching, Learning & Curriculum

Ivan was appointed Director of the College in 2008. Ivan gained an MA Ed in Leadership and Management in 2004 and also holds a Level 5 Diploma in Management Studies. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Learning. Ivan has held senior management roles in the FE sector for 11 years. His early career involved work in the voluntary sector.

Helen Mason - Director of 14-19 Learner Support & Quality

Helen joined the College as a Director in 2002. She graduated in Drama from University of Wales and is a qualified guidance worker and youth worker. She has successfully completed the Senior Leadership Development Programme with the Centre for Excellence in Leadership.

David Murley - Director of Employer Engagement & Managing Director of City Training

David was appointed Managing Director for City Training in 2006 and became a Director of the College in 2008. David has an HND in Business Studies degree from Leicester Polytechnic. His career includes 15 years senior management in the work-based learning (WBL) sector and 7 years in sports retail management.

Tania Burton - Director of Organisational Development

Tania joined the college in 2001 as Human Resources Manager and was promoted to her current role in 2007. She holds an honours degree Education and has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD) since 1991. Tania has over 20 years experience in human resources management, working in operational, advisory and strategic capacities.

Nigel Tobitt - Director of Finance, Funding & Reporting

Nigel joined the College as Finance Director in September 2008. Nigel is CIMA qualified (Nov 92). His previous experience includes Finance Director and Controller roles in manufacturing for 10 years and service industries for 6 years. Key experience areas include change project management, business system implementation, contract negotiation, management and control.
