Suzuki Donate Engines to Marine Skills Centre
Engine technology is always evolving and keeping on top of new developments is a task in itself, but Suzuki GB has generously helped the Marine Skills Centre.

City Horizons Paint The Samaritans Building
A group of 16 to 18-year-olds from Southampton’s City Horizons programme have rolled up their sleeves and got out their paintbrushes to give The Samaritans building on Londaon Road a new look.

Counselling Students Graduate with Flying Colours
The first results of graduates on the new BA(Hons) in Person-Centred Counselling & Psychotherapy course were released today – 9 students graduated:
6 students gained a First Class (1st) Honours Degree, 2 students gained an Upper Second (2.1) Class Honours Degree and, 1 student gained a Lower Second (2.2) Class Honours Degree.

City College Southampton Hospitality and Catering students surpassed all expectations at this year’s Wessex Salon Culinaire competitions held at the Bournemouth International Centre on Tuesday the 16th March.

Students Get PDAs
The project which has been named Capture sees more than 50 students across a number of vocational courses being given PDAS (Personal Digital Assistants) so they can submit evidence for their NVQs and Diplomas to an ePortfolio using mobile and wireless technology.
